It is unbelievable that it has been a whole year since we opened the doors for the first time on 20 April 2020 to the state-of-the-art Hibiscus Hospital Cato Ridge. It was with no fan fair due to the pandemic that the much needed hospital was opened, and what a year it has been. “We are very proud of our team in the professional way that they conducted their duties under very trying conditions,” said Mr Poorun, Director and Hospital General Manager.
Local Counsellor Mr Mkhize cut the cake with surgical precision to great applause from all present. We were honoured to have not only our board members, local doctors, distinguished visitors, staff and our first patients in attendance.
Already within the first year since opening, Hibiscus Hospital Cato Ridge has provided life-saving treatment to the Cato Ridge and surrounding community. Mr Poorun further expressed his sincere desire to ensure that the hospital will continue to provide the people of this community with the best in modern medical service and facilities, as they grow the hospital.
